Listen here, see, I'm all for keepin' order and all that jazz, but when it comes to throwin' folks in the clink just 'cause they got different opinions about historical events, well, that's where I draw the line.
First off, who gets to decide what's the "truth," huh? You got a bunch of suits sittin' around decidin' what we're allowed to believe? Sounds like a load of hogwash to me. History's a tricky thing – it's written by the winners, they say. So, what one group calls a historical fact might be a load of malarkey to someone else.
Secondly, ain't we supposed to be all about free speech and whatnot? I thought that was one of the things we were fightin' for – the right to speak our minds without fear of persecution. But now we're gonna turn around and toss folks in the slammer just 'cause they don't toe the official line? That ain't right, my friend.
And let's not forget about the slippery slope, see. Today it's denyin' historical events, tomorrow it could be somethin' else. Next thing you know, we're lockin' people up for havin' the wrong haircut or wearin' the wrong color socks. Where does it end, huh?
Nah, see, I say let people believe what they wanna believe. If they wanna deny some historical event, well, that's their business. We ain't gotta agree with 'em, but we sure as heck shouldn't be throwin' 'em behind bars for it. That's just plain un-American, if ya ask me.
