We have recently noticed a pattern among some users who systematically does multiple Paypal payments directly after each others, to the same account. Not just two payments but 5-10 or more. As it's not the same amount we have no reason to believe that they don't know how to change amount, because clearly they do.
The problem with this is that each Paypal payment has a fee attached to it, $0.30 + 3.4% of transaction amount, plus exchange fees. Which means many small payments cost a lot more to process than one single larger payment. There's also the additional risk of chargebacks were each chargeback cost $20 and plenty of time to challenge it gathering evidence and send it to them.
We'd rather spend that time on development to build a better service. And use the money we save to lower our prices for everyone, as the cost of dealing with fraud is unfortunately a cost everyone is sharing.
We estimate that a limit of one Paypal payment per day and account is fully reasonable. And if you for some reason need to do more than one payments in a single day, there are no such limits for cryptocurrency payments, and never will be.
