We've launched our API and made a lot of improvements in the back-end to ensure future reliability and clean code. During 2018 Q1our main focus will be to add all the features you want. Some requests has already been received via email tickets, for instance: Reverse DNS DNS management (specifically PTR records) Better information about SMTP and how to unblock the SMTP ports (we'd like to offer an alternative method which doesn't require additional information). A new dashboard, where all API features are available. Additional ideas are welcome as replies to this thread or in the suggestions section.

[unknown] That's the provider ID which looks like this: c-<date>-<time> and the feature is only available on ssd-vps, mem-vps and cpu-vps. I wouldn't use that as it won't work due to the missing full domain name in provider ID. An update was released yesterday exposing the reverse DNS, (if set) on net-vps but as a long term solution you may wanna wait for DNS management to be added to the API instead.

Block storage in all regions. Storage servers has poor performance, they are limited and are mostly out of stock.

I always thought reverse DNS was available, not sure why but for some reason I just did. Nice to see that you're adding it tho. Another thing I don't like is that you can't see the availability on the pricing pages so it's hard to see if the server you want is actually available until you've signed up and tries to deploy. You should fix that.

Smith_Johnsson reverse DNS works on Net VPS, although you couldn't see it in dashboard. Instead you have to type ipconfig or ifconfig in a terminal window inside your server to see that info.

I think you can use the server ID as a subdomain as well and it'll automatically configures reverse DNS for you. This trick should work on all plans.
