Came across the term "anonymized data" and started to wonder, how privacy friendly is that really, compared to true privacy oriented services where no data is collected at all. I understand the concept, the data is collected and logged, usually the same service also has your personal information but "no connection", and still a connection is required to be made at some point. So how could that possibly be privacy friendly?
