More resources for a lower price

So I just stumbled on these two plans:
G2-dedicated-5 128 GiB 32 vCPUs 400 GiB 8 TB $1536 / mo ($2.104 / hr) 3 / 11
G2-dedicated-6 160 GiB 40 vCPUs 500 GiB 9 TB $1500 / mo ($2.055 / hr) 2 / 11

Seems a bit odd that the better plan is $36 cheaper than the other one, any reason to choose the smaller plan here when I can get the bigger plan for a lower price?

Marco_Weiss Just saw it too. Actually not an issue unless you consider a good discount as something bad 😉

But joking aside, if you need a large server, now is the perfect time to buy it, the price stays the same for as long as the subscription is active, and that is a pretty good deal.

Seems like it's better to go for the bigger plan here. Listed prices applies so expect a correction within short. Tho if you've already deployed a server the price won't change.

Correct, prices will change soon. Most of them will be lowered.
