Magnus_Lind I know about htop and top already, but are there more tools available similar to these but for disk usage, bandwidth usage and similar? Would be great to be able to monitor everything via a terminal window.
Marco_Weiss Well, here's a few I can think of: lsof List open files netstat Show information about network statistics iotop Disk I/O usage iostat more information about disks df -h Disk usage iptraf Realtime network monitoring iftop Network usage and open connection
Allan_Virtanen https://www.netdata.cloud/ If I remember right, it's a web based panel with lot's of information about your system. Lightweight too.
Magnus_Lind babar7 What's wrong with Task manager? it has more features in advanced mode. Alright, to be fair I never did mention GNU+Linux specifically. Task manager is a viable option, if you're still in the Windows swamp 🙂
Donald_Alcorn babar7 What's wrong with Task manager? it has more features in advanced mode. It's nothing wrong with that, if you consider an additional monthly license fee of $20 reasonable for a $5/month server.

Donald_Alcorn babar7 Yes? that's perfectly reasonable. Microsoft employees needs to make money too you know. Never argued against this 🤦 , just saying that I personally wouldn't use Windows on a VPS.
