Some thoughts about privacy
Privacy, why would anyone need that if they have noting to hide...
This statement seems almost too familiar, especially in the most recent years. But is it valid? Some people would say 'yes', only to seek privacy just a few moments later. What conclusions can we make from that? are they hypocrites, or just unfamiliar with the true meaning of privacy.
At 99Stack Cloud we believe in privacy by default, if you got nothing to hide, then why should we (or the government for that matter) waste valuable resources to spy on you? It doesn't make any sense.
The new features
Now, let's end the rant and proceed to the good news. Starting today we'll lower our prices further. Especially on the larger plans but also on most low spec plans on generation 2 and 3 where the stock is currently high but demand is low. G3-optimized is now available from $0.007/hr ($5/month).
You asked and we deliver, as per your request we now also support dsa and ecdsa SSH keys to be uploaded and deployed for additional security on your servers. rsa is still supported but we'd recommend you to upgrade any remaining rsa keys.
From a last minute tip, we've learned that our Cloudflare API endpoints where blocking TOR requests. This should now be fixed, but as usual, let us know if there's any trouble.
