Then there's the privacy aspect, since no personal information is shared with the data center operator, they won't even know that you are visiting from Russia.
One problem however could be a nationwide disconnect from the worldwide internet. This could limit your access to some services in certain locations. TOR and VPN are recommended workarounds in that case, both are supported and allowed.
